The Graduate Program in Physics (PPGFis) of UFPR consolidated the concept 6 in the CAPES 2017 Quadrennial Evaluation, which confers the status of a program of excellence with international insertion, The faculty is composed by 34 permanent professors and collaboratos, actively acting in several lines of research, both theoretical and experimental, distributed in about 12 research groups certified by the institution. The student body has 75 enrolled students, between master and doctoral students. The scholarships are funded by CAPES/PROEX program and by CNPq.
